NEW SITE

As you al may already have seen, Jeff did a fantastic job with our new site. There are so many nice things that is even hard to describe all of it. Jeff also made several versions of banners, for future exchange with other sites. New KIAI logo is on these banners, as almost everywhere on new and old site. I hope you like it.

Jeff is full with new and fresh ideas. But we must help him. He is going to sponsor a domain name for KIAI site (like: www.kiai.com), and he already submitted KIAI site to all major Internet search engines. Please, sigh our guestbook and send your photos and updates to me, Jeff, or Walt.  Our new site:

ANOTHER KIAI SITE?
Wonderfull offer came to me from Canadian Wado ryu karate sensei and webmaster, Scot Gawne:

Dear Ivica-san,

(...)  I've been following the progress of your Kiai magazine closely since its conception and you have some excellent material contained within!  I have in the past studied Kendo, Muso Shinden Ryu Iaido as well as kenjutsu.

I am interested in offering my services to you.  As you may be aware, I am the web designer and web master for the AIWA, NIBF, DKK1 as well as many other commercial sites.  I'd like to discuss with you the lay out of the KIAI magazine and how I may be able to assist.  It has great potential and I'd like to help in its development as well as promotion.  (...)

I realize that KIAI is a non-profit group and respect that.  My original intent was of course in the facility of volunteering my time to the graphical layout and coding of the magazine.  If you would like, by all means please forward to me in a .zip format your material for the magazine and I will gladly organize and publish it to the web for you.  Either to a ftp site, a mutual shared area, or any where you deem fit.  I also have my own server as I own the scgrafix.com domain.

All the best from Canada!

Scott Gawne

Chief Instructor Wa-No-Michi Karate Academy
North American AIWA/NIBF Representative
